Nice! Good to hear your mending things up with your friend… just got thinking. Hope it’s not an old ex girlfriend and now you’re with the wife. Now that would be awkward. Anyways good on you guys.

I am getting old because I can say I had a good Christmas day.
At 83 dad has been losing his mobility and strength last two years. Yesterday got him out of his house and into my sisters in Regina for a family supper. This is same sister who was a covid Nazi for a few years so cancelled the full family Christmas. Don't know if dad will be able to recognize another Christmas but for the day it was nice to get him out and sitting with family. Was a great day to travel, get him in and out of vehicle and house.
Sometimes it is simple things to say it was a good day.

Also enjoying the time spent with family and friends around a table full of good food, and also the time spent in church hearing the Christmas message and singing songs.
Seems kind of strange having a basically brown Christmas. Not much white around here.

Kens post reminded me of this that I seen a few days ago and it is so true. I always felt Christmas was mostly for the kids, but now as my kids are getting a little older and the magic of Santa is fading, I am starting to see that it’s as much for being able to get together with mine and my wife’s aging parents for as long as possible, they are all getting to mid 70’s and up. My kids are lucky to still have all 4 grandparents, and hopefully for many more years.
