Surely John Deere has antigravity on their machines now. That is probably what that special plug I hear mentioned that connects the header to the combine is for. Once those magical pixie dust particles stop flowing as per the header set on a trailer, its overload city LOL.

Now we see how rumors get started...ha ha. I was referring to the combine. That's not what I heard. Heard head was so heavy it needed a special lowboy with 4 axles. Technically it probably does, but I think here they either get an exemption or a permit to move it.

I must have missed something. I thought green paint floated on water 😂.

Did you try polishing it?

I just realized the errors of my ways, I only washed it and no rubbing with a soap brush and certainly never had polished it. I suppose it works like a genie then, have to polish it to get the John Deere gods to wake up so that it will indeed walk on water .... float across the field and harvest like no other ... like I was on cloud ummm 9 ?

Surely John Deere has antigravity on their machines now. When I hear the prices of all brands of combines I end up feeling light headed. Not sure if that helps make the machine any lighter or not?

I seem to remember something about a new Deere header coming out, none of this is in my league so I really don't keep up with it. But I come across this on twitter, "prototype" caught my attention, read thru a bit and it was identified as Deere...

Laid eyes for the first time on the new Deere twin rotor yesterday. I was really impressed with what I saw inside that machine with the layout and size of components, I can see how it would be a big capacity machine. Only thing that struck me was the hopper seemed a bit small, but it was a 1000 model and I gather the 1100 has a bigger hopper. Lots of belts(mostly on LH side of combine) and very little direction changes for power loss, should be efficient.
Obviously it has lots of electronics and is probably way too expensive, but very exciting to see a new product like this!
The massaging seat might actually sell a few machines...lol

Wondered if the s790s are still made and if they are outselling the x9?I seen a couple of brand new 790s in Morris. I hope they keep the 790 going. Thats more in line with my farm needs. The x9 would require a bigger cart, more semi s bigger unload augers and so on. Its turns into a rat race!
The massaging seat is cool but you can pick up one at canadian tire and fasten it to any seat.
cool combine, but so is a s 790 with money to spare!

S series is only thing you could actually buy right now if you wanted to. I think there is still only a handful of X9's for 2021 in MB, probably the same very limited few in other areas as well. It's a small grain combine, I don't see them taking the S series away from the corn/bean guys anytime soon, but what do I know. Logistically the X9 would be a tough combine to move around on a custom harvest circuit too I would think.
I think bang for the buck the X9 is way better in small grains, at least that's what the guys I know that demoed it say.

Enns has sold over 20 for 2021 harvest and most are 1100's

Enns has sold over 20 for 2021 harvest and most are 1100's Well that's quite a few. I don't think GVE got very many and that's my dealer. I guess JD losing sales like crazy to Claas has possibly accelerated the availability of the twin-rotor machine. I heard Claas is almost selling more new machines in MB than JD now, with probably less than half the dealer locations. I'll have to ask again, but the other day I'm sure I heard I couldn't get one for this year.

I think they are sold out of X9 now. I know a couple guys that got them around here and one farm possible getting another. JD had limited numbers available but with the popularity they were going to make some more but they are gone now also. Maybe could get one for fall but likely be too late for harvest this year.
One big farm here had demoed a X9 and they are pretty hard core green guys but bought a couple new claas machines instead. JD was a lot more $$$. They had run one conventional claas along side their 4-5 jd for a few years.

Between the 2 yellows they have went from maybe 5-10% market share to around 50% of the combines purchased in my local area. I would imagine deere would want to stop this as soon as possible. It sounds like a good chunk of the x9's where sold through the brandon dealer
