This is kinda of a home made project since I’ve now done more welding to this rock digger than the people who built it. First picture is a before picture. Our digging teeth were getting worn and not digging rocks as well as it used to. They were 11" shorter than when there were new. New teeth were $1600 per tooth so I decided to try fix them. Second picture shows rebuild progress after the first box of 7018 rods was done. Third picture is after the second box of 7018 rods and 2 layers of Lincoln Abrashield impact resistant hard surface so about half a box of them. Most of the time consumed was the chipping and wire brushing while I let it cool down between passes. I've got quite a few hours and $100 of welding rods into this but it sure digs rocks a lot better now.

Do you mean first yard up from the ferry or just in the area? I’ve had coffee a couple times at Neelie’s but I haven’t crossed paths with him now for quite a few years.

I want to convert an old grain truck into a pull behind wagon we can use around the farm for silage/dirt/manure/gravel. Etc. only have to worry about tires then and not the whole truck.
