A forum can have additional themes for you to choose from, allowing you to view the forum in a style that suits you more than perhaps the default theme on the forum. When you choose to view the forum in a different theme, you will view the forum with the theme you chose whenever you log in to the forum in the future.
To get started, click the Profile button typically found in the top menu bar of the forum, and then on your profile page click the Edit Profile button. You'll be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page. On this page, click the Settings tab and you will see the option for Forum Theme as the fourth option listed on the page. Click on the drop-down menu provided an you'll be presented with the names of the different themes to choose from. Click on the name of a theme that interests you most and then click the Save Account Settings button found at the bottom of the page. When this is done, you should be viewing the forum with the new theme that you have selected.

Yeah, I was looking at that. If you find a theme you like by all means.

I put my location in my profile, but doesn't seem to display. I think to see location we will have to put it in the signature line.
Maybe that should be something to encourage from the start here, put some farm details and location in the signature area???

I will say that you need to make sure when quoting someone on this format that you type outside of the box. Once things get mixed up it's impossible to get it straight again.
Thanks Warren for organizing things on here, looking good so far! 8-)

Is there a way to set it up so that I can see the newest posts without having to go through the entire list of categories?

Is there a way to set it up so that I can see the newest posts without having to go through the entire list of categories? yup.. as another said, it's right on the bottom, along with 'mark all forums read' ... i do have a support ticket in to see if i can also have these two at the very top in the menu line, as well ..

Decided to see what the Screen Themes were like. The "Creamsicle" is definitely orange in colour. No way. Tried the "Sunny Daze", decided to go with that because the default font in bigger & bolder which is good for these old geezier eyes. The default has small font and hard to see. I need all the help I can get when reading on the screen.

The font size can be changed in the browser itself [rather than the forum program] in the browser the fonts can be made smaller or larger with a two key combination .. press and hold the CTRL key, and also the + or _ to make the fonts larger or smaller .. You -might- see a % sign next to the URL bar to tell you what size the default is for any site .. In the browser you have to change each site seperately though ..
