Was doing some peas before supper, everything going good, stopped for supper and when I went to start up, engine quit and red code came on. Camshaft to crankshaft offset. Shorted to high source. Anyone have this happen before?

Cam position sensor. There was also an issue with the wiring harness rubbing up by the engine and causing issues.

Cam position sensor. There was also an issue with the wiring harness rubbing up by the engine and causing issues. Yep, had the same issue on a CR9070 a number of years ago. It was the sensor. Nothing wrong with the wiring harness. I think we had a mechanic out to repair that but it was a quick fix.

Iveco motor, correct? Same issue on a Magnum once, ended up being the wiring harness but tech pulled cam sensor out to check if it had metal or other debris on it, said he'd seen that before. No issues with motor just happens.

Yes, Iveco. Isnt the sensor, unplug it and it runs. Have to take cover off and there is a phonic ring that loosens up, just have to put back to where the Mark's are. So they say. Read on a case in thread with Iveco.
