Our sprouted barley is picking up a lot of small stones from being rooted in to the ground. I have never heard so many stones go up an auger like I have this year, every couple of seconds one grinds it’s way up the auger. I imagine if anyone ever wants some of this stuff, they won’t want the stones in it. We usually select to hog barns and imagine the stones would be hard on their mills and any small augers or blowers they use. Have any of you ever cleaned out stones? Can’t help but think the sprouts would add an extra degree of difficulty.

I have no clue. Know nothing about seed cleaning except which auger to park the truck under when our cleaning guy comes!

Cleaned grain for years, like meskie said, gravity table, also rolled lots off top sieve on fanning mill. LMC had a vibratory drag that would come from dirty bin to the fanning mill. That was going to replace my auger, but never did purchase it. Quit cleaning seed instead!.
