Have some land that Shepard’s purse has gotten out of hand on. Last year was lentils and was a disaster. There’s some group 2 resistance going on as the solo didn’t touch it. This year is durum and there was a big flush of weeds coming. Early June. I hit it with full rate Enforcer M and added a couple oz of MCPA to spice it up. Crop was 3 leaf and used 7.9gpa water. Sprayed mid morning out of the heat of the day. There’s a lot of shep purse that made it through and also a new flush of it coming. The agronomist reccomending using Infinity on another pass to control it. Anybody have any experience with infinity and shep purse? Do I need to add AMS? I won’t be adding any grassy as traxos went out with the enforcer. Infinity FX is out as it’s too much fluroxopyr in one season. Any other chemical ideas? Next year will be canola if we get some moisture or back into a cereal if we don’t.

I will let you know how it works if the wind stop blowing. I would put ams in if it was my field, but it is not. It should still work well on shepherds purse.
