We bought a set of super B's, just wondering what other people using for the auger to reach under when filling the air cart? We have a Bourgault 6350 , Should a guy add the Micheals augers underneath or the air seeded hopper extension ? Thanks

We used the michels augers and I liked them. No moving the truck and you can put the auger out and pull along side with the truck.
You see lots of used sets for sale at decent prices.

Airseeder hopper works okay, not as nice as something like the bourgault or CNH deluxe auger with truck hopper built in. Can use with any trailer or truck. Michel's augers are also nice but need wet kit and if dumping drom other trailers without there is a problem or if your truck goes down and you don't have another with a wet kit that's also a problem. Also the Michel's augers need enough clearance to flow unrestricted because if they back up it's hard on them. Neither is as good as a deluxe auger, speaking from experience.

We plumbed our augers in to the auger circuit on our cart. Don’t need a wet kit that way.

I bought the air seeder hopper brand hopper from a sask company. I will say it was junk. Its in the back of the shed now . I didnt like using the semi in the field . Seemed to always dick around lining stuff up. I was fed up and parked my two semi s and went back to my two tandems. Love this set up. The added weight to the auger hopper just makes the thing more clumsy. Also I found with the semi your packing the land more around the drive way. I park two tandems side by side on the drive way and no mess around. I know a lot of farms like the one semi dual tanks for seed and fert but I just couldnt make it more efficient and found two trucks quicker to fill up.
Actually a seed tender conveyor would be the best and than no need for the cart auger.

Yeah I forgot about the extra weight of the hopper, throws off the balance of the auger for sure. Cleanout is not the best either.
