Looks to be being pulled by a tandem grain truck....farmer hauling to Richie Bros? Trying to save some money on trucking and permits and hauled himself??? ...big oops. Not a good day for the owner.

I think this is the underpass a guy I was helping haul a drill to northern alberta couldn't fit under. No wet kit on the semi so we couldn't lower drill. Called local police to block traffic so we could back up and go the wrong way up the entrance ramp to bypass. Had permits but figured signs/measurements hadn't been updated after some fresh pavement had been laid down.

Maybe now they will call it "Indigenous Head", just to be "Multiculturally Correct"

I can't see the drill that clearly but I'd have to say that farmer may have to lower his yield expectations just a little, his depth control across the unit might be slightly off !

And hauling it at 7:50 am down some of the busiest roads you can find. Maybe people don't consider rush hour traffic anymore, I avoid it whenever i can. A whole lot nicer driving at 9 am vs 8 am.

I am presently having my own equipment hauling ordeal right now, I am hesitant to hare because it's not over. Bought a used conveyor about 90 miles away, went to haul home Monday and made it ten miles before tire deflates and goes flat suddenly. So I back into an approach and jack it up and remove tire. Around supper time so no tire shop open, go home. Today I get a new tire mounted and do another hike back to get conveyor, stopping to do a bunch of business on the way. Again I make it about ten miles and again no tire shop open, so come back home. Tomorrow it will have new tires and hopefully complete the job! Probably cheap tires put on at factory and they are "P" rated, should be heavier. Good thing I was prepared with jacks and impact wrench and such, but some jobs just take forever. I'm sure the locals are getting a real kick out of watching my progress...lol

Glad our equipment hauling ordeal went better then yours swman. We picked up our new to us tank at the factory on Friday. No trouble pulling it home the 15 miles.

Nice tank. I've been looking around for something like a 7950 and they are hard to find, especially close by. Made it home with the conveyor today, only lost the spout about 10 miles from home but it is fixable. I blame our crappy MB roads for that...ha ha

I'll do this in two posts, easier to keep things seperate lol. First thought.... You Mabitoba boys, was watching a show on some MB community channel last nite about that bad flood years ago...question, did they ever do anything about how that flood diversion system at the Peg was causing water to back up into nearby towns? I remember hearing about that being an issue at the time, even here in AB was mention of it, but thats going back some years. They never did actually mention the year during that program, well I missed the first 15 minutes, show was comprised mostly of local tv news coverage video, but wasn't like around very late 90s?
