I thought big pics were to exaggerate fish sizes.

What's this "spare time" you speak of? Haha In winter I try to ride these things but it seems like it's not a common occurrence.

Snowmobiling was so much more fun when I was a kid, and dad paid for the sleds, the gas, the oil, registration, parts.................

The left one is yours? 😊 Story behind that old one, back in 1999 I think it was I had bought a 1996 XCR 440 like that, biggest pile of crap I ever owned... Haha, had it for only a few months and it blew up, while I was waiting for parts I had bought a 1997 XCR 440 SP, the "red rocket". I then sold the 1996 after fixing it. Fast forward to 2019 and I got bit by the nostalgia bug. However finding a 1997 or 1998 "red rocket" is like finding a needle in a haystack, and if you do find one it's either beat up so bad it would suck to own it or it's terribly expensive, they are very popular old sleds. So I settled for my 1996 piece of crap. Difference is this one is a liar, it says XCR 440 but it actually has an Indy 500 engine so the reliability problems shouldn't be an issue. Indy 500's were built forever and were a dime a dozen. The chassis is still the XCR and when you own a newer machine like my 2015 Rush there, those old ones all ride like crap but the "low rider" is a lot of fun to rip around on on nice days.

I enjoy sledding in the winter although it seems to get less time every year to do it. The sons hockey takes up a lot of time during the weekend. Kids and I enjoy cruising around on the ranger in the spring/summer/fall.

Have been trying to squeeze as much summer in as I can the last couple of weeks as summer is short enough, but with the flooding we had at the start of July, we lost a couple of weeks there dealing with that. My wife and kids and I went camping east of Winnipeg a couple weeks ago, had a great time, it's nice to get far enough from home sometimes so you can relax knowing that you can't just run home and "check" on things, which seems to always be the case when I camp close to home. Then spent the long weekend camping with most of my family at my dads cabin, had to make a road across the canola field as there was no road left from the flood. And just spent the last couple of days on a quad trip with my niece. This has been a somewhat annual event now that started years ago with one of my nephews, then took a few years off when we were having our own kids, then started back up 4 years ago with my niece, and one other niece joined for a couple years, but ditched us this year because she has a boyfriend! Young love! lol We got good weather this year, but most of the years seem to have had some kind of weather event from tornado warnings to heavy downpours, but the show must always go on! This trip is increasingly becoming my favorite getaways, completely roughing it, only take what we can fit on the quads, including the gas. We try to get to the most remote places we can and take the most off beaten roads and trails we can. We go fishing, but most years get skunked, this year caught 4 within a half hour. This trip makes we want even more for my own little cabin with no power or electronics, back to the basics, I find it recharges my batteries more than anything. Will try some pics. No, still can't says I have too big of pics. How do I make them smaller, says my pics are 6.8 mb?

Grab a picture resizer app. I can help if you need. Right now the wife and I are enjoying each other's company in the back 40. BUILD YOUR CABIN! Yeah you can go check on shit, but something that takes 5 minutes to get to and is away from the day to day is golden. Anyhow going to enjoy my slice of paradise.

I have some ideas for the layout of the cabin, have a few possible sites to build it, biggest problem is finding the $$$$$$$$!!

And this is the summer....not sure if you can see it clearly but if you zoom in on the LH corner of the boat it has a decal that says "Done Farming"...and that's the motto when at the lake.
