I'd say it's been "ok". Has good power and starts/runs good, but in November of 22 around 4200 or so (I think) hours the turbo on it blew and the new one was $19,000 Thought that was ridiculous so we called Cummins in Winnipeg and one from them was over 20k. Insane, I always thought a VGT was in the neighborhood of like 6 or 7 grand. That being said last fall we bought a 9570RX which is also Cummins powered. So far so good on that one. Curious , this spring did you notice a difference in seeding tracks compared to your two track and 4 track ? Yes that is a hard pill to swallow . I wonder why so much ? Most trucks are 7-8 thousand . Actually , if you can wait , a place in Quebec rebuilds your turbo . I have to check my bill but my kenworth turbo was 3000 I believe . I could wait for that . But a tractor you need it right away . Did you have oil in your air to air cooler as well ? I am at the point where I tried to update new to avoid these breakdowns , but it’s impossible ! The worst thing is big payments plus a break down ! I am seriously thinking going back to an older 9630t in good shape that has been thru the ringer . I would have no payments and just get it checked over well . I dont get that new paint buzz anymore !! In fact the new stuff just is a headache now because you have higher expectations My best d John deere tractor was a 9530

We still pull the drill with the 9570RT, we used the RX on harrows and cultivator prepping fields for the planter. Definitely saw less tracks in the planted fields on the angles we did our harrowing at compared to the 9520 the RX replaced.
Found a bunch of ISX turbos for trucks in that 7k range after the fact but they were all scattered all over and we needed it pronto. We actually finished disking in the snow 2 days later, had it taken any longer we wouldn't have gotten the corn ground worked.
There was no other damage that they could find, just the turbo. When you'd move the arm that adjust the pitch of the vanes inside you could feel it was very rough, we never bothered looking inside.
I don't like new stuff either anymore. It breaks just as much as older stuff does and costs an arm and a leg. My favorite tractor is our 8230. I loved the 9520 but it didn't have enough power for the tillage equipment we kept buying that was sized for the 9570RT.
