Anybody buy the bushel plus grain drop pan that fits under combine. I s it worth it or just more gadgets.

It's worth it if you plan to check and in some cases(pun intended) slow down. I have a Bushels Plus and it is a slick unit, but pricey enough. Get the wider model.
I know a guy that does a lot of panning(even for neighbors) and he has seen as much as 10 bu/acre out the back of rotary combines! Farmer had no idea it was that bad.

I think someone could start a great business going around panning and helping guys set combines. No integrated with any dealer or mfg. I would hire them in a heartbeat atleast once a year.

If there was such a person that was called upon to fine tune machines for dealerships or their customers, what do you think a person would charge for such a service?
$2000/day plus travel would be very reasonable & of value in my opinion.
