Merry Christmas boys and girls. Ask santa for better weather for me. He is not returning my calls anymore.

Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year. I vaguely recall joining the old forum on Christmas day 8 years ago, been great having a group like you guys to bounce stuff off of. We still need to have a get together some day, although that isn't looking like it will happen anytime soon.

Merry Christmas Had a buddy that was dressed up as Santa stop by last nite. Kids and old lady were totally caught by surprise. Lots of smiles.

A toast to next year, hoping we can forget 2020 and 2021 is full of prosperity and happiness so as to never think about 2020 again!
Got a decent snow a few days ago so the sleds are out finally. Couldn't even ride last year and year before it was March when we did some riding. Boys are 16 and 14 so they missed two years of riding with good years to be developing skills. Been nice here for a few days, no wind, sun, and -5c and enough snow in ditches and around sloughs to make the long tracks fun to ride. So a good start to the winter and a nice way to spend Christmas at home.

Merry Christmas. We just got back from a skate at our curling rink. They put ice in for who ever wants to skate on it over Christmas. Likely won’t be curling on it this year anyway.

Merry Christmas to you all, hope you all have an enjoyable holiday season. Was a little disappointed that we couldn't have the family get together like other years, but had a surprisingly great Christmas. Really helps that my kids are 9 and 7, right in the prime for Christmas excitement! Still went to see my parents for coffee yesterday for dad's birthday and again today for coffee, they just live across the road so no big deal. Changed up our supper plans a little as it was such a nice day out, we BBQ'ed supper, first time I've done that for Christmas! Feel really fortunate and blessed for the year we had, despite everything it threw at us, then at the same time feel a little guilty knowing there are so many people going through some rough times right now, and have been for a long time now. For those of you especially, my thoughts are with you at this time of year.

Also Merry Christmas to all. Thanks for the good online interaction and encouragement. It has been a challenging year and yet we still have it a lot better than many others.
So good to read about the good community interaction through skating etc. Being kind to others is one of the best gifts we can give. Getting a smile in return is that much more rewarding.
One more good thing about farming and living in the country - a lot more freedom from covid police.

Well I'm calling it a day and for the year too, so I'll say it now, happy new year, and here's hoping things improve for the next one.
