Can anyone explain this to me? Political parties have hundreds of people working for them constantly analyzing polls and deciding what it will take to keep them in power or win an election. No matter how much of a diehard supporter you are you can still pick out any weaknesses or faults that could cause you to lose power. Even a diehard sports fan that loves a certain team can pick out the weak players or knows when they have made a mistake in management. So how can an entire party be completely oblivious to to someone like Joe who wasn’t fit for president the first time around be completely sideswiped this late in the game? It makes no sense at all. I still think this has all been planned out, just can’t figure out the next step. Theory time... 1. Camel toe gets the nomination. 2. She fails to gain in popularity after nomination because she's as popular as a chick in a gay bar. 3. Biden "dies" in office allowing camel toe to move to POTUS to try to increase her popularity. 4. Still fails. Well Joe got Covid so the chances of your theory coming to fruition are that much greater.

BLM doesn't even like Harris. That is bad.

I think the short list would be who does like Harris, historically no one votes for her so it is a mystery how such a dufus got this far, but apparently the sky is the limit now. Unless someone else more shinier steps in and sweeps everything? As with everything the last few years, we won't see it coming and we'll be saying "well, I didn't expect that".

I guess barring something unforseen happening between now and January Mr. T gets in for another term. Clearly he has been kept around for some purpose, I wonder what we can expect this go around? I see the CDN $ is losing ground today which continues a trend, maybe tariffs influencing grain markets again?
I think he will be given a lot of rope to govern given the mess the Dems have left, and given the majority in the house and senate we might expect some drastic moves. I'd like to be optimistic but after the stunt in 2020(which he fully participated in) who knows what to expect.
Will be very interesting going forward I'm sure...

Our country might not fair quite as well financially with Trump as president, but at least the leftist wokies and environmentalists and whatever else comes with that package won't have the free rein and encouragement that Kamala would have given them. I'll take better moral policies over financial prosperity. This is stating it in very broad terms, but I'm thankful that Trump got elected.
I also believe the likelihood of unnecessary wars not happening is better with Trump.
It seems like the Republicans have a very good vice president in J.D. Vance.

I'll take better moral policies over financial prosperity. I couldn't agree more with this. Hopefully they rip the band aids off the debt based fiscal policy too, short term pain for long term gain. And yeah I fully expect our weak leadership to get exposed again in Canada...

I understand the hesitation about Trump, his government was in a position to stop the covid scam in its tracks but didn't. However there is a bigger picture and the Republicans winning still supports that.
Our world is based on creating a false reality for us. The old adage of being pissed on and being told its raining is fitting. It is one of the very top items that allows the present system to exist. Trump continues to do a good job of making such things evident. The fake news media is a good example. Yes, it can be argued that this is another vector to create friction but I think it is accurate to say a lot of people are waking up to how the world operates with Trump in play vs if he wasn't.
I suppose if we are powerless to change anything then it doesn't matter what Trump says as the system is still in control. So as usual, we have to wait and see. As expected, the system is marching the world to war to cover up the fact that the present system is nearing its end and then usher in a new system. So a big step with tangible proof in the pudding will be to see if the US and other countries reverse direction.
And it always involves creating a fake reality so simply watching headlines and news stories about events that may not actually be taking place - are being created in the news. Just saw a news story about Ukraine possibly pursuing a peace plan. That is curious. And this morning see Germany passed a law to enable military draft, yup, that would be the system at work pushing for more war, or perhaps to get German citizens that much closer to realizing war isn't good as them or their relatives won't be on the sideline - a draft is a good way to cut back on pro-war talk.

Musk said he could save the government a couple billion dollars without trying too hard. Be interesting in the next few months. Trump learned a lot in his first term let’s see what he does this time. Hopefully get some common sense back into policy

When a country spends over $1T a year to protect its borders but then has 1000s walking right over them unopposed, and also can't figure out measures to identify who is a citizen from who isn't when in the country then yes, i would say it's an indication that more like $trillions can be saved in government.
As I often say - no one is that stupid, no one. It's by design. So it's a matter of having the system serve the citizens vs serve those in control and then the savings are guaranteed to occur and quality of life will go up also.
It's interesting to note anytime government cuts are mentioned it is automatically said by experts that the public will suffer. Thats the explanation for why debt must go higher. And all political parties play this same tune.
We will see if there are any real changes going forward. If there are any, each person will have to pay attention to their programming that has occurred through their lives to see if changes made are worth panicking about or not.
For example, if the US actually closed 800 military bases around the world that are proven to actually not protect the US borders, what percent of the world population would freak out and run into the streets saying the world will end and terrorists will be everywhere without this "protection". Or say Russia will finally invade Germany if the US military isn't on German ground.

I heard a 20 % steel tariff is going to be slapped on . If a person is on the fence of buying a bin or steel shed might be a good to time to book
