I internetted it. Apparently she's supposed to rest for two weeks after under going some tests. Either way I don't really care, just a figure head anyway.

Let's just say the Queen's health is continuing to change. From cancellation of a public event, to routine tests in a hospital, to not attending climate summit, to needing to rest for 2 weeks to now stories of secretly hiding cancer.
Sure, the Queen is just a figure head. Just like in Canada where that "symbolic" title still plays an integral role in our so called democracy. While the role of Queen may appear symbolic to us peasants, there is a likelihood that the title may be more than symbolic when it comes to who actually owns the farmland I am told I own.
I mean, if I actually own my farmland then yes, I would say the Queen's position is symbolic. The way to test that is to see the likelihood of me demonstrating my rights of ownership and winning when an agent of the Queen comes to claim the land as hers. Seems to me the farmer who owns his land is consistently shown he doesn't own it. And if he doesn't, then who does.
My favorite part of the narrative surrounding the Queen is that she went to a hospital for routine tests and spent the night there. I suppose if she is just a commoner with a fancy title then that would be her only option. My guess is the real truth is the Queen can have whatever she wants, done in her own residence and by medical people who don't serve the average peasant.

Regarding the Queen being a figurehead. I posted in the covid forum on other site how the Saskatchewan Health Authority operates. It basically runs Sask health care. It is a private body, not government run. It has a 10 member board of directors who oversee things and elect the executives to direct health operations. That boards appointed by the provincial lieutenant Governor (as per SHA website), who in turn is appointed by the Governor General, who in turn is appointed by the Queen (her representatives, I doubt the Queen is actually doing it). So, if all these roles are purely symbolic then how do they end up being directly responsible for who runs Sask healthcare. In other news, the government did extend its debt limit to cover the cost of Build Back Better. But the Dems just hit a snag when they found out they don't have enough Dem votes in senate to pass it. Commie heads are exploding everywhere. Turns out there is infighting because not all Dems are full on commies. Makes you wonder how the political system got to a point where a entire portion of a democracy want to do away with democracy and go communist. I have a pretty good idea how it happens. Same way Pelosi just so happens to become rich while demanding communism for the peasants.

AOC came out a bit ago and said politicians shouldn't be able to trade or hold stocks while in office as they have the ability and advantage of foresight to make or control policies/laws to manipulate stocks and therefore their wealth.
When AOC is the voice of reason there is an immense problem with the system.

I see that Sandman kid is cleaning up on his lawsuits against the big msm outlets. What does this change going forward? Or does it? I imagine Rittenhouse will also. Will this open some peoples eyes to the fake news Trump called them out on? There is so much fake news out there, will this start bringing out all the others who have been wronged because of all the fake BS. I hope it brings down all these fake media outlets, as far as I'm concerned they should all be shut down and let the independent journalists and news organizations take their place. CNN is sure having it's issues, not sure how anyone can watch a channel like that and think everything is alright.

The easiest way for me to view things is to consider all political figures as actors. They are not people serving the citizens, they are simply actors playing the role to make citizens think someone serves them. It is why for instance, in Canada no matter what the government issue is we have 4 or 5 members of the government as spokespeople. JT, Climate Barbie, Goodale, and one or two more. Doesn't matter what the topic is, it's the same people on the stage. So with AOC, I watch what the new script lines are that she is reciting. The US politics is similar with a few lead actors. Note the "squad" seems to play leading roles. Is it them being the most important figures, is it the media finding them the most interesting, or does the play (combination of actors and media) make it so. There is so much wrong with our politics. Trading stocks is just one example. There is no way I can agree with the 90% of the population who thinks that if something was wrong with it then government would change it. It exists because it is allowed to exist. And that is your answer. So when does the media get shut down. Maybe never. Maybe it is up to each person to figure it out. I don't know the answer. The thing is, we will still go and vote. First, how do you vote when you get fed total bullcrap. If democracy requires an informed public and you don't have that, isn't everything else rather irrelevant. We don't even need to discuss which political party will serve the citizens. But, as always, "if it is on tv then it must be true". For many people, whenever faced with a conflict in what they are learning this is their default position. We need to really understand this concept.

CTV News head resigned yesterday, will be done by year end. So about 8 days away, or 3 ish working days. Strangely no one is appointed to fill the role. I kind of expected major companies and important positions kind of require succession plans and such. Guess not. In other news, how do we end up with foreign countries like China being involved in our media. I suppose if it is capitalist China then this is fine since free markets and buying media is capitalism. But if it is communist China then that is different. All very confusing when I don't even know what China is - the media says a China is communist so let's go with that. www.msn.com/en-us/travel/news/virginia-company-paid-millions-to-broadcast-ccp-propaganda-took-100-000-ppp-loan/ar-AAS3o2mAnd all this is as real as Bidenbeing the real president who happens to have a cargo ship now parked on the Whitehouse lawn as per this BBC news article. BBC is real news, is it not? www.bbc.com/news/business-59764069

Haven't followed any of that but really doesn't mean much in any regard. To sue someone means nothing at the higher levels. For us peasants we think we get some kind of restitution by suing. However if a president of a country is suing someone for detrimental actions caused by another while engaged in managing a country then I would suspect the grievance goes much deeper than requiring a successful lawsuit for restitution.
What I am trying to say is that if a lawsuit is successful, there was probably a lot of other deeper issues that go far beyond personal violations and into deep, deep criminal actions effecting the population of the entire country.
So to sue is simply window dressing or more accurately a soap opera. It keeps the peasants talking and puts stuff in their minds. Ie narrative control. Makes the peasants beleive something is happening. The reality is that in a real world and if the issues were legitimate, it would not be dealt with in a lawsuit. More likely a bullet in the head in the middle of night a very long time ago would be how the grievance was settled to protect the population of the country.
So, basically, more BS if a lawsuit is big news.

I believe it’s not coincidental that talk of Hunter Biden’s laptop, the Durham findings and this lawsuit are out at the same time. Time will tell.

Pretty much tuned out of all this stuff. Taking the position that if it is in the news, on tv, or taking prominence on the net then it is all BS. Or it is true but just doesn't matter because no one has the power to work against the system. If there really was voter fraud and we really had a working system to serve the people then this would have been resolved long ago. The fact it hasn't is a reflection on how far the rot goes. And it is so deep that the whole system needs to be destroyed to cleanse.
I mentioned that stuff coming out of Russia is some of the only stuff that makes sense. However, the basic question is how do I know any of that is actually happening like is being claimed by entities who feed information to me.
If it is all BS, then what. If the military is working for the system vs able to oppose a corrupt system then there isn't much a bunch of peasants with rifles and trucks will be able to do. Sure, apparently ISIS could take on the world but I have my doubts about how reality would work.

I was not sure where to stick this item as it doesn't fit this thread either but it is political, just the other side of the isle. This is how many citizens should be speaking up and having the nazi types who are jerking our lives around ( obviously Trudeau and crowd on that list ) run out of town and in a lot of cases straight to jail.
