That's proof positive that she got shown the door. I heard that Dominic LeBlanc met with her but she wasn't listening so in desperation they sent in Skippy. I would love to have heard that conversation but her shot in the resignation makes it pretty clear she didn't go willingly.
Too bad we didn't have some process where a non-partisan independent group could review candidates, vet them and recommend the best of the best. Then maybe we'd end up with more GGs like David Johnston. Oh, wait a minute, we did have that process and it did result in David Johnston. But Skippy couldn't use that process ...... because Harper.

I finally did some digging to read up on what and where things were at with Levant being fined by Elections Canada recently after hearing about it from my brother that they had now levied a fine. Levant was very quiet about it on Twitter. Now first read what he says, the reasons why he claims he was fined...then read the actual documents from Elections Canada...and then explain to me how anyone with minimal intelligence can respect or financially support this lying drama queen. Its sad really, because if it wasn't for all the fake news and drama, folks might actually take them seriously. I can not for the life of me understand what people see in Trudumass. I have tried talking with with some of my more liberal "friends "and listening to what they have to say but I just can't comprehend. Every time he opens his mouth the hair on the back of my neck stands up. Every time some new screw up is reported it just seems to wither away. This stuff has got to catch up with him eventually doesn't it? How is it possible that he is still our "leader "? How can his party even stomachs this? FKN LIBERALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not for the life of me understand what people see in True-dumb-ass. I am equally baffled. My family has a Liberal history. I've never voted Liberal but I have (now dead) ancestors who did and who were vocal life long Liberals. I respected Trudeau-the-elder's intellect and despised everything he did. The pup has all his putative father's arrogance and all his slut mother's intelligence.
A big part of or maybe all of the problem is how deeply corrupt our national media has become. They routinely run cover for Liberal fiascos. Their reporting is so deeply biased that most viewers won't even notice the depth of the spin. There has to be a day of reckoning but I fear it will come once our country resembles Venezuela more than it resembles the US.
