Looking for a swather? I have one that hasn't been out of the shed in three years. Only a couple hundred hours on it.

Always interesting how everyone's conditions are different. I'm very glad we swathed all our wheat and most of our canola this year. Otherwise we'd still be trying to get the canola off now. Sometimes we think a second swather would be appropriate. We straight cut one canola field this year and it went great. Comparable yield, nice black canola. However it was nearly 3 weeks later than the swathed stuff.

I actually traded my swather off this year on a new 35'DXL on 1170 with swath compressor. Swathed 1600 acres of canola, got the bugs out and really like both the extra depth and swath compressor. Considering canola was 6' tall, it had no issues cutting and feeding through as long as operator was paying attention.

What did they want for it? North of 1/4 million now?
