Well, politics ... a topic that DOES affect farming, maybe more than any other ... but we have to 'take it easy' on here , and keep it down, kindof At least it generates more interest than religion , 
Anyways, this is supposed to be a 'family friendly' forum ,,,

There's nothing wrong with debating politics, it's a way to vent, keeps you from kicking your dog every night! lol
It's when you get guys like Newfarmer123 over at the other site coming in and starting personal attacks just to get a rise out of guys when it gets stupid. That Trump thread over there rolled along pretty good for a couple years before he showed up. Guys argued but it never got personal. The site let it get out of control, don't let that happen and it will be fine.

Agreed Daryl. We are all adults and sure it can get heated, but in the end guys work it out. If by some chance it does start to get out of hand some one usually steps up and says smarten up. On the other hand idiots like NF bring nothing to the table.

We can have different opinions on stuff, no issue there. Just remember we agree on 99% of stuff as farmers and always keep that in context.
The problem I see is when you have someone who won't even attempt to answer questions or engage in reasonable dialogue, then you have a troll. Another danger sign is when the poster is focused on the political stuff and not the farming stuff. Need to be prepared to boot those that show this type of behavior to keep the forum healthy.
Everything(unfortunately) is political these days, and as business owners we kind of need to be aware of the political stuff.

Yes I agree swman. If you have a different opinion but are able to answer questions and keep respectful no problem.
