He had about 1200 in it before they upgraded the engine and put the truck on a diet. Haven’t found the numbers for it yet.
Lots of videos of him racing nice cars with that truck and he is on street outlaws also.
New vehicles are a lot faster off the showroom floor now then lots of modified vehicles are from a few years ago. Or many years ago depending on how old you are. I think a new ford ecoboost would take a Older big block truck off the line pretty easily. But you wouldn’t sound nearly as cool doing it.

Farm truck's a real sleeper isn't it! Can't beat the sound of a heavily worked V8! The wife's subaru comes pretty close tho. I don't mind it at all!

The topper on the back is the ultimate drag racing accessory...ha ha Yeah new vehicles have way better jam then the old stuff, good thing I don't drive like high school or the tire budget would be way too high. Those little ecoboosts are pretty nice and any current diesel would pull a truck from a generation ago apart. Basically drive whatever speed no matter the load and any pass is do-able even on a hill. Couple years ago we drove down to Arizona/California and all points in-between with the Expedition and the 3.5 ecoboost, at the end of the trip I darn near averaged 100km/hr including all city driving and idling. Man I love US highways! 8-)

And the speeding tickets in Montana are cheap..... and payable while stopped by the officer.
My buddy has a 69 Camaro that is done up pretty nice with a mild 350 in it and his new duramax isn’t much slower then it.

Beerwiser, if you had owned an older GM truck of the late 60's or early 70's with the big block, performance gains like that should be expected had you swapped in a HEI distributor, new plugs with wider gap, advanced the timing beyond stock numbers, used high octane pump fuel, low resistance all silicone spark plug wires and had the carb rebuilt so the power valve worked properly .... honest

Now I am starting to regret sending the old combines to the scrap. Maybe some one here will borrow me a new combine?

Wow! Those guys and maybe gals got a lot more guts than I do. (and maybe a little less of something else ) That's crazy. I wonder how many of them get hurt ...badly.

I generally follow the principle that if it has wheels and an engine then it can be raced but don't think I would aim to ever be the fastest combine on drag a track. Over 40mph must get a just a little hairy. The guys doing the circle track are doing well to keep those things pointed in the right direction.

Does anyone remember the Coors Light Silver Bullet jumping combine? I seen it in Brandon when I was just a kid, even then I thought it was stupid. Was just a car with a flimsy ass fake combine body on it, you could see the driver sitting in where the sieve should have been. I was disappointed, even for a young kid.

To be fair Kevlar, Coors light is a disappointment so why would the jumping combine be any different? Maybe they were preparing kids for their first taste of coors light.

I cant wait to get this steed on the highway soon! It will be awhile ! The little time I have drove it already I am A little embarrassed I have stalled it a few times maybe because I am not use to the power it has when you twist the throttle . It is an absolute blast to drive! I love the old school looks of this model and its not loaded up with heavy bags or front fairings. It weighs about 700lbs.

That is what a classic road motorcycle should look like !. As to the stalling aspect, I wonder if increasing the idle speed is possible with that fuel system, is there a cable that goes to a linkage given that its fuel injected. Turning up the idle speed on a bike, a car or pickup with a standard transmission can make all the difference to its start out drive-ability.
