Pretty sure there was no thread on anything related to all the climate bullshit going on, if there is my apologies, maybe someone can add this to it then. I know I'm not the only one who finds much of the manipulated crap tied to all this nothing short of infuriating to see and hear it being spewed as fact and more... Don't have a lot of time but wanted to post these two links I come across thru Twitter this morning, gotta love when you got the likes of the idiot behind the affidavit and the NFU claiming to "represent" farmers. Anyone know this dipshit? Sounds like he only been "farming" for about three years, real BTO with his one solar powered drying bin. Read both the article and affidavit, I'm sure most will be spitting up coffee as I was at points. Gotta love the graphic of Regina temps, typical narrative manipulation, for some funny reason they only go back to 1976 with recorded temps...now why stop there? I think Regina was keeping track of such things since about 1876...ah time to go back out and move some cows and relax lol, I can only take so much of this crap I thought I would just add this line from the CBC article, I think it probably sums up this presumptuous jackass more than the rest... "I'm more open-minded, I guess, than most people are," said Wright, who wrote an affidavit in favour of the policy for the National Farmers Union, which is one of the interveners in the case. www.cbc.ca/news/politics/stefanovich-carbon-tax-supreme-court-of-canada-set-up-1.5729473?__vfz=medium%3Dsharebarwww.nfu.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Affidavit-of-Glenn-Wright.pdf

Another unbiased and neutral article by the news media of the people. Starting out with the words "carbon pollution" as if it's fact. How come no one asks the experts on how things will go if we finally elimate all that carbon pollution. Get CO2 down to zero ppm which is where we want to be in elimination of pollutants. And the more indepth personal viewpoint just happens to come from someone in support of taxation. Funny how that happens. I guess CBC could not find an intelligent farmer opposed to it.
Always found it interesting that the supreme courts can be so evenly split on interpretation of law and constitutions. Documents are written to be not very ambiguous, balance of power and intent are established to be not very ambiguous, yet supreme courts always manage to come down to the wire on big issues. It's almost like they are political and not indeed sticking with what is written as guidance. You would think the greatest minds in the country would be in agreement on most things.

Gonna stick this here, figured as good as place as any, most who would read it would find it here anyway...Gotta give Vince credit, this is the same I been saying myself and many others as well, Kenney really needs to pull his head out of his ass and soon and start to listen to those of us who elected him in the first place. I am really concerened about the next election if he don't, we have already had that experiment once and we really don't need to experience it twice... www.westernstandardonline.com/2020/09/byfield-an-open-letter-to-jason-kenney/

I know a number of guys may not agree but I really think farmers should get paid for selling carbon credits to big oil companies . I know there are companies paying farmers for there carbon credits. I would pose the question why pay for a tax and not get paid for a commodity that our crops use and convert to oxygen. We are by definition good stewards of the land and should not be taxed. Of course in a perfect world, we should not be considering either!

Next thing you know, scientists will start to link that stuff to the magnetic north pole moving. At a very fast rate. Wonder if CO2 is doing that too. So far the entire subject of the North pole moving is not a concept even worth mentioning, let alone linking to other environmental phenomena.
